Dunlap Resident Offers $300 Reward for Missing Cat 'Hot Rod'

Community Urged to Assist in Locating Beloved Tabby

DUNLAP, Tenn. — A local resident is seeking the community's assistance in finding her missing cat, Hot Rod.

Sueanne Johnson reports that her 1.5-year-old tabby disappeared from her home near the intersection of Highways 127 and 111 on November 24th.

Hot Rod, a black and gray male cat, is known for staying close to home and responding promptly when called.

Described as friendly and vocal, he shares a strong bond with Johnson.

To encourage his safe return, Johnson is offering a $300 reward to anyone who can help bring Hot Rod home.

If you have seen Hot Rod or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact Sueanne Johnson at suannejohnson1991@gmail.com.

In the spirit of community support, residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for Hot Rod, especially during upcoming local events.

On December 6th, the annual City of Dunlap Christmas Parade will commence at 4:30 p.m., starting from Sequatchie County Middle School and proceeding through downtown.

Additionally, the Very Cherry Christmas event is scheduled for the same day from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Cherry Street.

These gatherings provide an opportunity for the community to come together and assist in the search for Hot Rod.

Let's unite to help bring Hot Rod back to his loving home.
